Bananas Foster

2 Tbsp. butter

2 Tbsp. fresh orange juice

1 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice

1/2 cup packed brown sugar

2 Tbsp. brandy

2 Tbsp. banana-flavored liqueur

4 peeled bananas cut diagonally into 2-inch slices

1 quart vanilla ice cream

Melt butter in large skillet over medium heat. Stir in orange juice, lemon juice and brown sugar. Heat to simmering. Simmer until mixture bubbles and coats a metal spoon, about 3 minutes. Add banana liqueur and brandy; ignite carefully with a long match. When flames are extinguished, add bananas. Toss to coat with syrup. Spoon bananas and sauce over ice cream.

Makes 4 servings.
