Black Bottom Pecan Pie Fudge Filling 3/4 cup sugar 1/4 cup cocoa 1/4 tsp. salt 3 Tbsp. butter, softened 1/2 tsp. vanilla 2 eggs Pecan Topping 1/4 cup sugar 1/2 cup light corn syrup 1 Tbsp. butter, softened 1 tsp. vanilla 2 eggs 1 cup pecan halves Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Fudge Filling: In small mixing bowl, combine all fudge filling ingredients. Blend well at medium speed. Pour into unbaked 8" pastry shell. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Spoon pecan topping over partially baked pie. Return to oven for another 30 to 35 minutes until crust is golden brown. Pecan Topping: In small bowl, combine all ingredients except pecan halves. Blend well at medium speed. Stir in pecans.
