Lemon Pie

3 egg yolks

3/4 cup sugar

3 Tbsp. cornstarch

1/4 cup melted margarine

1/4 cup lemon juice

1 Tbsp. grated lemon rind

1 cup milk

1 cup sour cream

3 egg whites

6 Tbsp. sugar

1 baked pie shell

Beat egg yolks slightly, add 3/4 cup sugar, cornstarch, margarine, lemon juice and lemon rind. Mix well. Blend in milk. Cook, stirring constantly until mixture thickens. Remove from
heat and cool. Fold in sour cream. Pour into pie shell.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form. Add 6 Tbsp. sugar, beating until meringue is stiff and glossy. Bake about 10 minutes or until meringue is slightly browned.
