Sand Tarts 2 sticks butter, softened 5 tbsp. powdered sugar 2 cups flour 2 cups chopped pecans 1/2 tbsp. water 1 tsp. vanilla Powdered sugar Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a cookie sheet. Cream butter and sugar in a small mixing bowl. Add flour and pecans, mixing well. Blend in water and vanilla. Form into crescent shapes. Place on cookie sheet and bake for 15 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool slightly on wire racks and roll in powdered sugar.
