Snickerdoodles

1 cup Crisco

1-1/2 cups sugar

2-3/4 cup flour

2 tsp. cream of tartar

1 tsp. baking soda

1/4 tsp. salt

2 eggs

Cream 1-1/2 cups sugar and Crisco. Add eggs. Sift together flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt and add to other mixture.

Blend well; roll into balls the size of walnuts. Roll balls into following mixture.

2 Tbsp. sugar 1 tsp. cinnamon

Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet at 400 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.
